Accounts Executive
Petaling Jaya, Klang, Selangor & Kluang, Johor
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare profit and loss statements and monthly closing and cost accounting reports.
  • Prepare, examine and analyse accounting records, financial statements and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
  • Analyse business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments and obligations to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.
  • Prepare and review budgets, revenue, expenses, invoices and other accounting documents.
  • Analyse revenue and expenditure trends, recommend appropriate budget levels and ensure expenditure control.
  • Resolve accounting discrepancies.
Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree or Professional accounting qualification (ACCA / CIMA / MICPA).
  • Must be a member of MIA or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 4 years working experience, with at least 2 years in the manufacturing environment.
  • Possess good knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
  • Independent, self-starter with a high level of diligence and initiative.

Finance Manager - 3 positions
Selangor, Johor & Vietnam
Responsibilities:
  • Reporting to the Country GM / GM of Sales & Marketing with matrix reporting to Financial Controller.
  • Lead the finance team in managing day-to-day operations and perform management accounting activities including preparation of financial accounts, cash flow planning,performance reviews, budgeting, credit controls…etc.
  • Ensure the compliance in local accounting standards, statutory filing requirements and reporting in line with the Group's emphasis on timely reporting and accountability.
  • Coordinate to ensure monthly, quarterly and annual reporting is completed in a timely fashion.
  • Support the analysis and explanation of financial performance.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, legal officers and other statutory bodies/ authorities.
  • Formulate and monitor policy and procedures in relation to accounting standards, debtors' collection and inventory management.
Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree or Professional qualification in accounting (ACCA/CIMA/MICPA).
  • Member of MIA or equivalent is preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years of working experience.

Head of Human Resources
Vietnam
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the on-going development, implementation, review and evaluation of the organisation's HR strategy.
  • Identify business led HR solutions that deliver commercial performance, provide leadership on the people aspects of business plans and provide input in regard to people and organisational issues. Lead, guide, develop and align HR plans to business strategy.
  • Champion business change and continuous improvement in both the office and factories; leading and embedding business change plans in line with strategic business targets and initiatives.
  • Strategically support key people related change of decisions, anticipating and dealing with any people issues effectively.
  • Understand local business context, issues and challenges in the organisation. Lead on the delivery of HR solutions appropriately to enhance commercial performance.
  • Managing all HR operations and systems delivery including resourcing, compensation, training, compliance, employee relations, HR Management Information Systems, talent management, performance management, personal and team development, career path implementation and manpower planning.
  • Deliver and implement HR policies and services consistently.
  • Developing an effective engagement strategy, organisational culture and managing complex employee relations issues.
  • Ensuring that all HR policies and procedures are regularly reviewed and quality assured to ensure legal and group compliance and consistency of application.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology or similar qualification from a recognised university.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in HR capacity, with at least 3 years in a senior managerial role.
  • Must have experience in organisation transformation, strategic manpower rationalisation and planning, recruiting foreign and contingent blue collar labour, dealing with relevant government agencies and labour agents, with the ability to influence Heads of Department on change.
  • Preference will be given to candidates who have similar experience in the manufacturing industry and good understanding of Vietnam and China.
  • Able to roll up sleeves and work closely with the Plant.
  • Must have commercial mindset with the confidence to share ideas with executive level staff and key stakeholders.
Interior Designers - 3 positions
Kuching & Kota Kinabalu
Responsibilities:
  • Package up complete design solutions from initial space planning, conceptual sketches, rendered modelling to full designs.
  • Responsible for conceptualising ideas and designs as per customers' specifications.
  • To work with project/ sales/ design teams in identifying new ways of designing for continuous improvement.
  • Determine architectural preferences, purposes and functions of the market and budget.
Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate/ Diploma in Interior Design or equivalent from a recognised institute of higher learning.
  • Minimum of 1 year working experience, preferably in doing proposals on tiles, sanitary wares, etc (fresh graduate are encouraged to apply).
  • Must be familiar with AutoCad/Revit, 3D Studio Max Design and Photoshop.
  • Proven design skills with work experience in residential/ commercial/ retail projects are an added advantage.
  • Good knowledge of design, detailing and procedures.
Maintenance Engineer
Kluang, Johor
Responsibilities:
  • Carry out routine inspections and servicing of plant equipments.
  • Attend to contractors' repairs/ installations work and provide assistance as required.
  • Responsible for corrective and troubleshooting of production equipments.
  • To implement preventive maintenance programmes to ensure optimal performance of machineries.
  • To analyse machine down time and develop appropriate measures.
  • To restore machines to their operating conditions in the shortest possible time.
  • To be in-charge of Utility, Energy or Automobile sections.
  • To ensure all factory facilities are in compliance to the Malaysian Law and Regulations.
Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/ Mechatronic Engineering or similar qualification.
  • At least 2 years of working experience, especially in manufacturing environment. Experience working in ceramic plant will be an added advantage.

New Product Development Executive
Petaling Jaya
Responsibilities:
  • To review on performance of new product launches, development, sales and profitability.
  • Product costing, Product Sales Analysis, Demand Analysis and Product Rationalisation.
  • Coordinate with marketing, factory and suppliers on development and timely launching of new designs / products.
  • To carry out regular market study / research on bench-marking exercise against competitors' products to be a "Trend Setter".
  • Assist in advertising and promotional activities, such as catalogues, merchandising materials and any other marketing developments.
Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess a Diploma / Degree in Arts & Design relating to ceramics from a recognised institute of higher learning.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of working experience in the related industry, preferably with design studies. Must have flair for design and is able to educate the marketing / sales team on selection of designs.
  • Pro-active, good analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Diligent with strong leadership qualities and communication skills.
Production Planning & Inventory Control Engineer
Kluang, Johor
Responsibilities:
  • To liaise closely with marketing, production, materials and warehouse personnel in the optimisation of production schedules and inventory holding requirements.
  • To study the orders/ stock requirements proposed by marketing and establish demand based on production plan that meets customers' delivery requirements with optimisation of factory resources.
  • Speedy information dissemination to all parties concerned on schedule amendment, production status, etc for planning and corrective action.
  • To regularly monitor and review the 1st grade yield rates by product series for the most appropriate yield rate application in the production schedules to curtail excess finished goods stocks build-up and minimise production cycle time by reducing incidences of production overrun.
  • Enforcements of policies and guidelines pertaining to production planning.
  • Timely and accurate reporting of production performance versus production schedules.
  • To work closely with Warehouse Manager on Inventory Management.
  • Industrial Engineering – to carry out time study and plant layout for productivity optimisation.
Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering or similar qualification.
  • At least 2 years of working experience especially in manufacturing environment. Experience working in ceramic plant would be an added advantage.

Production Engineer
Klang, Selangor & Kluang, Johor
Responsibilities:
  • To monitor production process control and implement yield improvement in operations.
  • To lead the production team to achieve the company's quality and productivity targets.
  • To maximise machineries efficiency.
  • To continuously improve the production process to meet customers' requirements while containing production cost.
Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/ Manufacturing/ Electrical/ Chemical or Industrial Engineering from a recognised higher learning institution.
  • Minimum of 2 to 5 years working experience in a ceramic environment or in production related process. However, fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Pro-active, good analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Diligent with strong leadership qualities and communication skills.
QA Engineer
Kluang, Johor
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for product quality status of existing production/ transfer products, quality evaluation to meet all requirements and confer with concerned departments to consolidate the actions taken.
  • Ensure the products manufactured meet customers' requirements.
  • Establish and perform monitoring and qualification tests as well as implement in-house quality/ reliability monitoring programmes in order to identify potential quality/ reliability problems.
  • Analyse product failure and quality data, ensure continuous quality improvement, investigate and resolve critical or potential quality problems by working closely with manufacturing, customer service and application of relevant QC/ statistical techniques.
  • Provide quality/ reliability engineering support to new product evaluation and qualification, manufacturing cost reduction and process improvement.
  • Ensure effective implementation of the quality management procedures that are under the control of the department.
  • Participate in quality-reliability, productivity and cost improvement programme.
  • Provide effective failure analysis for customer returns, in-house monitoring failures, shipment holds, line downs, and escalated issues within specified timeframe.
  • Provide reliability feedback and work in cross functional teams in improvement projects.
  • Perform competitors' product evaluations and benchmarking for continual improvement.
Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/ Manufacturing/ Electrical or Industrial Engineering from a recognised higher learning institution.

QA Manager
Kluang, Johor
Responsibilities:
  • To manage the overall QA operation.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to lead, support and continuously improve quality of related activities.
  • Provide guidance in resolving quality related problems and establish robust processes.
  • To manage customers' related issues and ensure complaints are handled swiftly and take measures to prevent any recurrence of similar problems effectively.
Requirements:
  • Preferably with degree in related discipline, and at least 5 years of managerial experience in related field.
  • Possess good communication, interpersonal, strong analytical and leadership skills.
  • Excellent knowledge in ISO 9001, ISO 13006 & ISO 14001 is essential.
  • Able to work independently and commit time to meet tight deadlines when necessary.
Research and Development Manager
Klang, Selangor
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the management, administration and operation of R&D Department.
  • To establish Key Result Areas for the R&D department and ensure the objectives are met.
  • To lead, train, facilitate and encourage R&D team to produce desired result within a specific timeframe.
  • Identify, define and develop R&D projects in-line with the Business Unit strategies.
  • To design and develop new formulation, innovative manufacturing processes and products, from laboratory to pilot plant scale, then to full scale production run.
  • Troubleshoot problems to solve issues related to production yield and product quality.
Requirements:
  • PhD in Material Science, Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in a similar capacity.
  • Strong analytical, consultancy and excellent people management skills.
  • Possess excellent track of record in R&D.
  • A team player who is results driven, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Well-versed in R&D methodologies.

Sales Coordinator
Petaling Jaya
Responsibilities:
  • To attend customers enquiries and complaints.
  • To support day-to-day operation activities such as data entry, order processing, coordination on delivery scheduling and administrative task.
  • To monitor the inventory and delivery status.
  • Knowledge on import and export custom matters would be an added advantage.
Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Business Studies/ Administration or equivalent.
  • At least 1-2 years of working experience.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Computer literate.
  • Able to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
Sales Executives/Managers

Responsibilities:
  • To work closely with Interior Designers, Contractors, Architects and Interior Designer Contractors in winning businesses for the company in the renovation market.
  • Develop and coordinate short and long term business and marketing plans to meet sales turnover budget and profit objectives.
  • Assist in the implementation of marketing strategies in various market segments.
  • Responsible for collating, organising and monitoring proper marketing information, gathering marketing intelligence and churning monthly sales report.
  • To provide customer support, planning, samples requisition, shipment arrangement, cost control, credit control and other ad-hoc sales related duties.
  • To collect and maintain updated market information on the tiles business in the region.
  • To continuously improve services to the customers.
Requirements:
  • Candidates must possess at least a Diploma in Marketing, Business Studies or other related qualification from a recognised higher learning institution.
  • At least 2 years of working experience in building materials or other related industries is preferred, but not necessary.

Technical Executive – 3 positions
Kluang, Johor
Responsibilities:
  • To work closely with production team and to provide technical assistance to improve quality, yield, in-process losses and cost.
  • To coordinate testing of new glaze material for quality improvement and cost reduction.
  • To troubleshoot for body, engobe and glaze related defects to ensure product quality improvement.
  • To carry out R&D works to improve product quality and process improvement for yield enhancement.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Chemistry/ Chemical Engineering/ Materials Engineering/ Science.
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience, preferably in a ceramic tile manufacturing plant.
  • Computer literate.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Good in report writing.
  • Able to interact with all levels of staff.
Warehouse Executive
Klang, Selangor
Responsibilities:
  • The incumbent will be responsible to oversee the daily functioning of the warehouse activities such as receiving of finished goods from production, delivery of goods to customers, container loading and arrangement with transporter for transport requirement.
  • Ensure overall stock accuracy by carrying out timely cycle count and proper storage and house-keeping.
  • To coordinate with marketing services department on the daily sales; transporters on transport requirement and arrangement; warehouse activities among the warehouses; production department on the receiving of finished goods and QA department on quality issues or third party inspection.
  • To ensure procedures and work instructions are followed in accordance to the ISO requirement.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of Diploma/ Degree in any field.
  • At least 1 to 2 years of experience in warehousing.
  • Must be driven, takes initiative and able to multi-task.
  • Experience in the ceramics industry will be an added advantage.
